Concept

The premise

Players step inside the vast neural network of the human body, guiding electrical impulses from the brain to target organs or muscles. The goal is to maintain fast, accurate neural communication while adapting to challenges like blocked synapses, neurotransmitter imbalances, or sensory overload.

Core gameplay

Four ways to play and learn

Each mode targets a different cognitive skill — sequencing, hypothesis testing, timing, and prediction.

01

Signal Routing

Players trace neural pathways by connecting neurons in the right sequence before the impulse decays.

02

Reflex Challenges

Timed reaction events simulate muscle responses — twitch, jump, or withdraw before pain signals arrive.

03

Brainstorm Mode

Coordinate multiple signals through different brain regions — motor cortex, sensory cortex, cerebellum — without cross-interference.

04

Synapse Builder

Collect neurotransmitters — dopamine, serotonin, acetylcholine — to strengthen connections and unlock new abilities.

Built to teach

Learning designed in, not bolted on

Educational integration

  • Each completed pathway unlocks an interactive map showing the real anatomy of nerves and brain structures involved in the task.
  • Players learn signal direction (afferent and efferent), neurotransmitter roles, and reflex-arc dynamics.
  • Optional quiz checkpoints reinforce neuroscience terms and concepts after each maze segment.

Multiplayer & co-op

  • Neuron Network ModeMultiple players act as neurons, passing impulses from one to another through quick reflex mini-games.
  • Disruption EventsOne player can play as a disruptor representing a disease or injury, challenging others to reroute signals efficiently.
Visual & audio style

How it looks and sounds

A dark, glowing neural web filled with crackling arcs of energy. Pulses of light travel like electrical storms through synaptic corridors, with dynamic soundscapes that build tension as impulses near failure.
